The main river Gerlos – only 100 meters from the hotel and within walking distance – houses fish of impressive size, which can be easily observed thanks to the crystal clear water.
The side valleys with Wimmer, Schönach, Schwarzach and Krummbach offer a diverse and varied fishing in the midst of a paradisiacal mountain world. In these streams as well as in the Finkau lake With a beautiful population of grayling and in Langersee at 2,200 meters, fishing with flies, nymphs and streamers without barbs is popular and no fish can be taken. Fly fishermen swarm at the local fishermen’s table and use our fly tying corner full of anticipation for the next day.

If you like sea fishing, there are 2 reservoirs – the Gmünder and the Durlassboden reservoir (Boat rental) available.
All artificial baits are allowed here. You are welcome to freeze your catch in the hotel or enjoy it freshly prepared by the kitchen team as part of the half board.
