For more than 25 years, ABENTEUER FISCHWASSER has been identifying the most impressive and largest catches from the waters of the member companies and awarding the “Fisherman of the Year”.
This year, the successful winners of 2021 were honored on May 13, 2022 at the Loncium beer hotel in Kötschach-Mauthen.
Salmonid Fisherman of the Year 2021
In the salmonid fishing category, the Swiss Klaus Blättler received an award for the second year in a row – during a stay at the Hotel Post member’s establishment in Nauders in Tyrol, he fished a char measuring 42 cm.
Coarse Angler of the Year 2021
Robert Winkler was awarded as the winner in the coarse fishing category – he caught the victory with a 100 cm long and 10 kg heavy Amur from the Putterersee .
Predator Angler of the Year 2021
Last but not least, Manuela Altmüller was happy about the title “Predator Angler of the Year 2021” – her pike from the Putterersee was 75 cm long.
